Manager's Comment
Season 2009/2010 will be the final year of junior football for all these girls as next season they must move into senior women’s football. After several seasons playing mini soccer FA rules demanded that we move into 11-a-side football but as numbers of girls wanting to play football is limited a compromise was agreed and we will now compete in the Russell Foster 9-a-side league. This will be a challenge for all these girls as we will play on a full size pitch with games lasting 35 mins each way with all the normal rules of football applying. Pre season training has gone very well and with this format suiting our girls, a good season will be enjoyed by players and supporters.
All home games will be played on a Saturday morning at the Oak Leaf Playing Fields in Newton Aycliffe ko 10.30 am.
